We are delighted that our Commercial Litigation team have been shortlisted for Litigation Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2024 following our work acting for the Federal Republic of Nigeria setting aside an $11 billion arbitration award procured by fraud after the Commercial Court's landmark judgment on 23 October 2023. Shaistah Akhtar led the Mishcon de Reya team acting for Nigeria alongside Partner Andrew Short, supported by Managing Associate Lydia Allaby and Associates Holly Edmond, Himaansu Servansingh, Connor Morrison and Sharvani Jeya Putra.
