Rebecca is a member of the commercial litigation group, specialising in resolving all types of commercial and business contract disputes. These often include disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions and issues arising out of the construction of contracts. Rebecca also deals with disputes between partners, shareholders and directors, and disputes involving negligence, misrepresentation or breach of fiduciary or other duty. She has experience working on fraud claims (for both claimants and defendants). Rebecca has also worked in art, intellectual property and financial services related cases.

Rebecca has experience in advising clients from a wide range of industry sectors including banking, property, estate agency, healthcare, energy, art and entertainment.

Key Experience

Advised a leading insurer in a case involving negligent property valuations and solicitors' negligence.
Advised on the purported termination of a Certified Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement for future carbon credits of a Chinese power station to trade under the Emission Trading Scheme.
Represented the manager of a high profile celebrity in a claim for breach of an oral contract with his client.
Acted on breach of warranty and fraud claims in respect of a share sale transaction.
Acted on various partnership and quasi-partnership disputes.
