Ramona is a Partner and heads up Mishcon’s Reputation Protection group. A media litigator by training, Ramona’s clients range from multi-jurisdictional corporates to high profile individuals and family offices. She advises on complex, often multi-jurisdictional commercial and reputational disputes.
She protects the interests of her clients and their businesses through the combined use of her knowledge as a seasoned litigator and her specialist experience in the field of reputation protection. She is particularly experienced in acting for clients from the world of sport and the media. Ramona works with clients and their advisors to obtain time efficient and cost effective solutions to their disputes.
Ramona regularly advises organisations on how to protect themselves from internal and external bribery and corruption risks. She also assists them to devise strategies to minimise reputational exposure when such risks materialise.

- Advising a multinational conglomerate on the protection and subsequent enhancement of their reputation, which had been unfairly targeted by an NGO.
- Acting for a world renowned sports person to quash the circulation of false rumours which would, if published, have had a negative impact on their brand.
- Representing a prominent business person to overturn his status as a politically exposed person, which was an artificial barrier to the enhancement of his worldwide business reputation.
- Advising high net worth individuals on the structure and subsequent retention of investments in Africa.
- Advising a number of English football clubs in relation to reputational issues.
- Ramona was also part of the team that secured the longest apology broadcasted by the BBC (and substantial damages) in response to unfounded accusations against Oryx Natural Resources of connections to terrorism.
