John deals with a wide variety of work in the commercial property sector. His practice includes the acquisition and disposal of investment properties, advising on the property aspects of secured lending as well as advising landlords and tenants.

He acts for a range of clients including institutional investors, private property companies, property funds, offshore private trusts, banks, retailers and other occupiers. They appreciate John's decisive "get off the fence" advice. Retail occupiers are a particular speciality of John's, understanding the issues that impact on their day-to-day store operations.

John advised Matterhorn Capital and Brett Palos on their £125.9 million sale of the "O2" Leisure and Retail Scheme to Land Securities and Net-a-Porter on their London HQ at Westfield London above the shopping centre's luxury village.
