Beth is an associate in the Employment Department. Her practice is divided between companies and individuals in financial services, art, property, fashion and media, as well as acting for charities and not-for-profit organisations. The former includes negotiating group exits such as that from Dresdner Bank, the latter includes acting for the likes of the NUS against the BNP.

Discrimination, gender and equality of pay are particular themes in Beth’s work and she has represented many senior female executives (including lawyers) in such cases. Her key interests include her work on equality, remuneration and flexible working in the City.

Beth is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She qualified in 2004 and became an Associate in 2009.

Key Experience

Successfully acting for a number of Senior Bankers on a series of high value claims in the High Court for unpaid bonuses and severance payments against Dresdner Kleinwort, now owned by Commerzbank.
Successfully acting for the NUS against a member of the BNP in relation to the amended Employment Equality (Religion and Belief) Regulations 2003.
Involvement in the Equality and Human Rights Commission's 2009 Consultation on Gender Equality in the Workplace.
