Bienvenido, bem-vindo and welcome. At Mishcon de Reya, we understand the intricate legal landscape that spans across the diverse and culturally rich regions of Latin America and Iberia. Our dedicated group of lawyers specialise in providing comprehensive legal services to clients with connections to these vibrant and dynamic parts of the world.

Cultural fluency

Our group boasts deep-rooted connections to Latin American and Iberian cultures. We speak the language and understand the nuances of local customs, traditions, and legal systems. This cultural fluency allows us to bridge the gap between your legal needs and requirements specific to these regions.

Specialised expertise

Navigating legal matters with a connection to Latin America and Iberia requires specialised expertise. We combine global legal knowledge with local insights to ensure your interests are protected and your goals are met. Although we do not give foreign law advice, we have a deep understanding of local laws and legal concepts. Our independence allows us to work with your own local counsel or to procure the best local advice from our extensive network of foreign counsel, providing truly integrated advice and solutions.

Personalised approach

We recognise that each client's situation is unique. That is why we take a personalised approach to every case. Our group work closely with you to understand your objectives, develop tailored strategies, and guide you through every step of the legal process. We travel to these regions regularly to advance opportunities and to meet with clients and intermediaries on their home soil.

We have many connections with organisations and bodies that seek to build understanding and relationships between the UK, Latin America, and Iberia to include membership of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britian.

Our track record of acting at the highest level for both organisations, from start-ups to large multi-national PLCs, and senior executives alike puts us in a strong position when it comes to advising clients. In fact, with each new case we add to our deep understanding of tactics deployed by both sides. Understanding an issue from your opponent’s point of view, knowing where they stand and how they are thinking, is a priceless asset for every one of our new clients.
