On Thursday 25 April Mishcon de Reya and Curzon PR co-hosted a discussion at the showroom of The Fold. We explored how media scrutiny and criticism affects women unduly, and how the fear of reputational attacks can dissuade women from taking leadership roles.
The conversation - led by Emma Woollcott, Head of Reputation Protection and Farzana Baduel, Founder and CEO of Curzon PR - encouraged women to be mindful of and to call out misogyny online, and underlined the need for women to take a proactive approach to defining, building and protecting their reputations.
