UK data regulator admits its own website does not conform to GDPR

Data protection partner Adam Rose was mentioned in The Telegraph in an article highlighting that the ICO does not conform to GDPR.

The ICO admitted over email that, "the current cookies consent notice on our website doesn’t meet the required GDPR standard.”

Adam said, "It has long been argued by some expert commentators that there were issues with the ICO's compliance with cookie law – however, I was surprised to see that they were so unequivocal in telling my contact that they agreed with his complaint".
