WHY? Festival 2016: 19 – 23 October

Southbank Centre's WHY? (What's Happening for the Young) Festival, which explores the rights of children and young people, is taking place 19 -23 October. For those five days, the 21-acre site will host debates, workshops, performances and free participatory events. At this year's festival: actor Olivia Colman, vlogger Grace Victory, punk poet Brigitte Aphrodite and Complicite theatre com.

The WHY Festival is about helping children of all different age groups understand what a right is and not just what they can do with it for themselves but how they can support other children around the world.
