Head of Family Sandra Davis appeared on BBC News at Six and the News at Ten to discuss the new 'no-fault' divorce legislation. The legislation, which is to be introduced "when parliamentary time allows", will allow couples to state the marriage has broken down irretrievably, instead of one alleging adultery or unreasonable behaviour. Sandra said:
"When there are children involved, the need to strip out as much acrimony as possible is essential, and there is a better way of having a civilised relationship in order to co-parent your children than dredging through the history of a marriage and apportioning fault."
