The Collaborators, a joint Mishcon de Reya and Estates Gazette initiative, celebrates the enormous positive contributions that the real estate industry makes to the UK's economy and environment. The idea was born out of MIPIM UK, where anti-developer protesters seemed unable to comprehend the positive contribution that property developers make to the built environment.
We see collaboration as a positive message for the industry.
Collaboration is key to unlocking opportunities at every level across the real estate sector. It is fundamental to the government's plans to release public land for private sector real estate development and so help solve the housing crisis. It is also seen as the solution to regenerating rundown town centres and high streets. The successful developers are the ones that are able to collaborate with central and local government bodies and their own professional teams to create effective real estate projects.
New collaborations and partnerships will shape the future of the industry and we aim to be in the forefront, leading the charge alongside the entrepreneurial, innovative companies that are revolutionising the market.
