New partner hire: Joanna Lampert joins property litigation team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joanna Lampert, a top rated property litigator, as a partner in our Property Litigation Group.  She has been appointed to help lead the department's growth and to deliver our vision to be London's premier property litigation practice.

Joanna acts for owners, occupiers, developers and funders of corporate real estate and specialises in most contentious aspects of real estate.  Her practice covers risk analysis and avoidance, development disputes, landlord and tenant disputes – including rent and service charge recovery, forfeiture/possession claims and contested lease renewals – title, right of way and right of light disputes, real estate related professional negligence claims, and real estate related insolvency and corporate recovery issues.

Many of the cases that Joanna has handled are high value or involve novel points of law, requiring a creative and commercial approach to achieve a successful outcome.

Daniel Levy, partner and head of the Property Litigation Group, said:

"I am delighted that Joanna has agreed to join us and look forward to working with her and the other talented lawyers in our team to build London's top practice. Our significant trial experience, the breadth and depth of our client base and our commitment to becoming London's top property litigation house are significantly strengthened by Joanna. She will be instrumental in leading our group to the next level".

Joanna Lampert said:

"Mishcon de Reya's real estate offering is of the highest order and the firm has a clear commitment to litigation, so this was a fantastic opportunity for me. I'm really excited to collaborate with Daniel and the team in leading the practice into the future."

This comes at an exciting time for our Property Litigation team as we are celebrating our tenth anniversary this year.
