Mishcon de Reya has today announced that barrister Oliver Mishcon will be taking a Consultant role at the Firm.
Oliver represents private and corporate clients in dispute resolution and across a range of compliance issues. He specialises in complex, high value commercial disputes and regulatory work focused on the financial services sector. A significant proportion of his work has an international dimension. Examples of his current and recent instructions can be found here.
As a Consultant, Oliver will operate a dual-capacity practice working out of his Chambers at 2 Manchester Square and at Mishcon de Reya.
Oliver is the eldest of Lord Victor Mishcon's nine grandchildren and the only one currently practising law.
Oliver commented: "As my practice has grown over the years it has become more and more of a natural fit for Mishcon de Reya, particularly in relation to their commercial litigation, finance and banking and white collar crime and investigations practices. And it goes without saying the Firm, its history and the values my grandfather promoted are very personal to me. I very much look forward to working together."
Managing Partner James Libson added: "It is a pleasure to welcome Oliver to Mishcon de Reya. His litigation practice and clients very much complement our own and he has already began working on cases with our lawyers."
