10 April 2019: Mishcon de Reya has announced that seven people will join the Partnership in its latest promotion round, with a further four rising to the role of Legal Director.
The Partner promotions are:
Justine is part of the firm's Construction Group, working on non-contentious matters in the Real Estate department. She has experience across a variety of sectors within the industry and typically acts for developers, property owners and funders with a particular focus on large-scale developments and commercial real estate.
Amanda works in Mishcon Private, specialising in Art Law and the related field of Luxury Assets. She is valued by her clients for her commercial, flexible approach and depth of knowledge across a diverse range of legal problems faced by those operating within the art market and luxury assets fields.
Joe is the Head of Cyber at MDR Cyber. He will be the fourth non-lawyer in the Partnership and he focuses on providing strategic cyber advice, helping organisations to develop and optimise their investments in cyber risk management, and protect their reputation and stakeholders.
James is part of the Residential Property team specialising in residential conveyancing. He is experienced in dealing with complex deals involving shared ownership, auction sales, portfolio purchases, tenancy and planning issues.
Rhymal works in the Dispute Resolution department and specialises in civil fraud. He has an in-depth knowledge of representing and defending clients in cases involving Search Orders, Freezing Orders, Delivery Up Orders, Restraining and Computer Imaging Injunctions, Third Party Disclosure Orders and other asset recovery techniques.
Janet is part of Mishcon Private. Her practice centres on commercial disputes for a wide variety of clients including high profile individuals, HNWI's, successful entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, families and family offices. These claims are invariably complex, high value, usually multi-jurisdictional and often include allegations of fraud.
Niki works in the Corporate department. She advises on a full range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and has worked on a number of cross-border transactions. Her experience covers a wide range of sectors including betting and gaming, technology, retail and leisure.
