Vanessa Dewhurst, Partner and Director of Human Resources, has been named in the 2018 Timewise Power 50 awards, a roll-call of the UK’s top flexible and part-time workers who are delivering in high-earning, business-critical roles with non-traditional working patterns. The awards are designed to inspire more employers to open their doors to talented people who want to work flexibly.
"Vanessa works with Mishcon de Reya’s senior team to bring together the strategic, financial and people elements of their future business strategy. She has reset the firm’s people agenda, creating and promoting a performance culture that maximises talent at all levels, whilst having the operational flexibility to meet the evolving expectations of both colleagues and clients. Vanessa was hired into the firm on a part-time basis, and has shown through her promotion to Senior Equity Partner that flexible working is not a barrier to success. As well as spending time with her children, Vanessa uses her time outside work to give business support to a local homelessness charity. She is also a Non-Exec Director of an information and on-line solutions business, supporting school leaders and governors."
