New Partner to join growing IP practice

Mishcon de Reya today announced the appointment of IP Partner, David Rose, who joins from King & Wood Mallesons LLP (KWM), where he was Head of IP in Europe.

David specialises in trade mark, patent, copyright and design litigation, and he has acted in a number of major patent and trade mark actions, notably in the pharmaceutical and media sectors. His appointment– which follows the arrival of Ray Black, who joined the firm from KWM in July 2015 –  will make Mishcon de Reya one of London's leading IP firms.

Commenting on David Rose's appointment, Jeremy Hertzog, Head of Mishcon de Reya's IP Group, said: "David's appointment reflects a strategy to expand our IP offering; the wealth of experience that David brings, most notably his work in the patent and life sciences sector, adds significant weight to our ever-growing capacity in this area. It's fantastic to welcome such a well-regarded lawyer to the team. We are very much looking forward to working with him."
