Katya Ascher, an Associate in Mishcon de Reya's Life Sciences group, will present at the BioFIT Conference in Strasbourg on 1-2 December 2015. Martyn Hann, who heads the Life Sciences practice, will also be attending.
BioFIT is the leading event in Europe for open innovation, technology transfer and collaborative research in the field of Life Sciences, bringing together academia, TTOs and research institutes alongside big pharma, emerging and small biotech companies, medtech and diagnostics companies.
Katya's session, entitled 'Shaping the future of Open-Innovation: does the IP legal framework need remodeling?', will cover good IP management practices, with a particular focus on patent co-ownership and licensing of global patent portfolios.
