Mishcon de Reya, building on the apprenticeship programme from 2014 when it hired two legal apprentices, has this year welcomed two new apprentices into non-legal roles within the business.
Ella Walsh joined as Digital Marketing Apprentice within the wider Business Development team on 1st September. Studying towards a Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business, Ella was chosen with help from Step Forward, a school leavers programme set up by The Challenge – the UK's leading social integration charity. Adam Elgharrafi joins as a Credit Management Apprentice within the Finance department on Monday 5th October. He is studying towards a Level 2 apprenticeship in Debt Collection.
Both Ella and Adam will be working at Mishcon de Reya for twelve months.
Mishcon is one of the first private law practices to offer non-legal apprenticeships of this kind.
Vanessa Dewhurst, HR Director, commented: "At Mishcon de Reya we recognise the enormous value our Business Operations staff bring to our business. We are delighted to welcome two non-legal apprentices to our apprenticeship programme and continue to offer opportunities to those seeking an alternative pathway to university".
