Mishcon de Reya appoints new Disputes Partner

Wednesday 18 January: Mishcon de Reya has announced that it has hired Nicola Bridge, who joins as a Partner in the firm's Dispute Resolution department this week. Nicola was previously at KWM. The appointment comes just one week after the firm announced that it had hired Shaistah Akhtar, who also joined from KWM.
Nicola is an experienced litigator, whose practice includes general commercial disputes and civil fraud work, with cases often involving allegations of fraud, deceit and misappropriation. She has particular experience of obtaining and defending freezing orders, data protection and data privacy issues and dealing with theft of confidential information.

Nicola has been involved in numerous cases involving claims under the Commercial Agents Regulations, on both the claimant and defendant side. She works predominantly in telecoms, media and technology and betting and gaming sectors.  She will be joined by Managing Associate, Tom Roberts.

Commenting on the appointment, Kasra Nouroozi, Head of Dispute Resolution at Mishcon de Reya, said: "We have one of the largest and most comprehensive Dispute Resolution teams in London and Nicola's experience is a perfect fit. Her practice, with its focus on commercial disputes, will enhance our existing offering and we look forward to welcoming her to the team."

Nicola added: "I am delighted to be joining Mishcon de Reya's dynamic and impressive Dispute Resolution team. They have a formidable reputation and this is a very exciting move for me".
