Mishcon de Reya announces ABS Conversion and admits first non-lawyer to the partnership

Mishcon de Reya has announced that, with effect 10 April 2015, the Firm's application to become an Alternative Business Structure has been approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

The Firm can now admit senior non-lawyers to the Partnership. The first of Mishcon's non-lawyers to join the Partnership is its Chief Operating Officer, Bambos Georgiou.

Bambos has been with the Firm for nearly twenty years and is a member of the Board. Prior to joining Mishcon de Reya he worked in the computer business for 17 years and was CEO of an international software company.

Managing Partner Kevin Gold said: "One of the many advantages of converting to an ABS is being able to reward and engage our most senior non-lawyers by offering them a real stake in the business. With this in mind, I am delighted to formally welcome Bambos, a valuable and long serving member of senior management, to the Partnership."
