Anna Shevchenko is a CEO of the UK leading cross- cultural risks and communication consultancy. She speaks 8 languages, worked in 52 countries and interpreted for 8 British Prime Ministers. In 2014 she was a Deputy Head of the OSCE International Observers team in Ukraine.
Anna is an author of 5 multi-award books, published in several countries. Her articles appeared in various publications, including The Times, The Guardian and the Telegraph.
Her latest book, 'Around the War in 20 stories', is a collection of real life stories of hope, humanity and humour, collected in Ukraine and across Europe in 2022 -23. The book was printed under shelling in Ukraine, 40 kilometers from the front line and the whole team worked on it for free. All the money from the sales went to the charity projects, selected by the people in the stories.
In April 2024 ' Around the war in 20 stories' was selected to represent Ukraine in Strabourg, World Capital of Books this year, and presented to 46 Ambassadors to the Council of Europe.
"These stories are beautifully written and give a stunning and poignant sense of the state of play"
Alec Russell, Foreign Editor, Financial Times.
