Tech London Advocates (TLA) has just launched its Blockchain working group, with Legal and Regulatory as its first sub-working group. This sub-working group will be comprised of legal practitioners, and is endorsed by the Law Society. The mission of this working group is to help companies and individuals develop blockchain knowledge in order to create unprecedented opportunities.
TLA has appointed Anne Rose to lead the new Blockchain Legal and Regulatory Group. Anne is an Associate in the Commercial team and co-leads the Mishcon de Reya Blockchain group, in addition to her involvement with TLA. Anne is putting together a working group of experts to analyse real life use case examples of blockchain; discuss the standard terminology to be used by legal practitioners in this space to ensure consistency across the board; and to hear from speakers from different industries. Anne hopes that together, legal practitioners can shape the future of this new technology.
The launch of the Legal and Regulatory Group is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 14 May. If you would like more information, please click here.
