Family Partner Barbara Reeves advised a reader during a Q&A in The Sunday Times. The question revolved around how to buy out the family home when in the process of a divorce.
Barbara said, "As there is no “one size fits all” solution to meet the family’s needs, much will depend on your financial circumstances… If the children are to have their main home with you, and it is not possible for you and your husband to each purchase a new home, it may be that you and your children could remain in the family home until they are 18."
