Behind Mishcon de Reya’s elegant Africa House doors, property work has turned into something of a Petri dish for technology and innovation.

For law firms operating in the real estate market there is a common theme: the strain on fees and the need for speed. Mishcon recognised that it had to react to this market dynamic.

Nick Doffman is Mishcon’s real estate group head with more than 25 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial property.

Nick West is the firm’s chief strategy officer and innovation team head. He joined in January 2016 from tech-enabled alternative legal services provider Axiom, where he had been head of the London office. The third Nick is Nick Kirby, once a Mishcon trainee and now a managing associate in the real estate group.
