On 19 April 2018, Intellectual Property Partner Sally Britton was interviewed on BBC Breakfast to discuss the latest developments in KitKat's attempts to trademark its four-finger shape, commenting "there are a number of elements to the brand and it's right that they're trying to protect those elements."
Sally also said that she didn't think Nestlé would give in if the European Court of Justice ruling didn't go its way, "Nestlé isn't going to give up lightly. You see they've got a great brand portfolio, and they're prepared to invest in it."
