How the BBC women are working toward equal pay

Employment Partner Jennifer Millins was recently quoted in the New Yorker. In the long form article, which examines Carrie Gracie's case against the BBC against the backdrop of the recent push for equal pay, the gender pay gap and the fight for equal pay are explained, and the implications of Gracie's win are explored.

Millins said, “A complete lack of oversight on pay has been allowed to run away with itself for years and years at the BBC. No one ever stopped to think until they were challenged on it. Just because they didn’t mean to do it doesn’t mean it’s not illegal.”
