Congratulations to Fran Rance, Associate in the Immigration team at Mishcon Private, who won silver last night at Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2018. Fran was recognised in the Inspirational Individual of the Year category. The philosophy of the contest is to support future leaders who excel at work but who also make an important contribution to society.
This nomination was based on testimonials from clients and intermediaries and showcases Fran's passion for supporting those who find themselves in a vulnerable position and who cannot readily access the help they need. Her contributions to the firm and externally, including volunteering with Echo100Plus at the Ritsona refugee camp and Breaking Barriers, was recognised by the judges.
We also won silver award in "Corporate CSR initiative of the Year". CSR is at the heart of our core values and this award is the recognition of our support for local community. Our charity partnerships with St Mungo's, Holborn Community Association and Bags of Taste support those in our local area and our involvement with the Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP) addresses the issues of social mobility and access to education. We are also proud to support initiatives such as Breaking Barriers, helping refugees access employment and rebuild their lives.
