The BBC enjoyed the headlines generated by its gender pay gap: at 9.3% it is around half the national average. At the same time, it published an Equal Pay Audit, a report by Sir Patrick Elias QC and BBC management's response. However these reports raise more questions than answers for women at the BBC seeking to understand if they are being discriminated against.
