Funds and Financial Services

In an evolving regulatory and investment landscape, having the correct structure for management and investors has never been more important. The new environment is throwing up opportunities, but it is also vital to keep ahead of the various challenges being faced by the industry as regulators the world over introduce a constant stream of new requirements.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Our Funds and Financial Services team has vast experience in both onshore and offshore structures and prides itself on working closely with managers to ensure that management entities are set up in the most advantageous manner. Additionally, funds are looked at from all angles, not least that of potential investors, in order to achieve the most efficient structure to be able to promote and operate the fund, and allow investors to benefit from a regulatory and tax efficient set-up.

Mishcon generally has a very entrepreneurial client base, and that matches well with small and medium-sized management teams. We can help provide project management during fund formation, and be an extra member of the team, freeing up the principals to focus on fund raising and investment strategy.

Emerging markets has been an area where we have particular expertise, with many funds established focussing on India, Africa, South America and Russia.

On the finance side, we can assist with all arrangements for leverage and other third party financing.
