Vivien has over 20 years of experience as a property lawyer. As the Real Estate department's Professional Support Lawyer with responsibility for know-how, training and professional development, she promotes the sharing of legal knowledge within the firm. Prior to joining Mishcon de Reya in 2010 she spent 9 years as the sole Real Estate Professional Support Lawyer at Simmons & Simmons. Before that, she was a partner at Finers Stephens Innocent specialising in secured lending and retail property acting for banks, building societies, funds and large retail chains. Vivien has lectured and been published on a variety of legal topics. She is a member of the Association of Women in Property. In her spare time she works voluntarily as a trustee and adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau.
