Ros is a litigator in the Firm’s Real Estate department. She primarily advises commercial landlords and tenants but also has wider experience of residential matters, including residential tenancy issues in particular. She has expertise in a wide range of landlord and tenant matters including dilapidations, lease renewals, rent arrears recovery, possession claims, forfeiture and rent review. She also has experience in dealing with insolvency and advising landlords and insolvency practitioners in those situations.
Ros is keen on development disputes, with recent experience under the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992, having successfully obtained access to neighbouring property against 90 defendants. She succeeded in dismissing a claim for dilapidations made by a landlord against its former tenant. She was also involved in an appeal to the Privy Council concerning a dispute over the ownership and registration of land in Belize.
She is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
