Personal Profile

Naaman is a Managing Associate in the Employment department.

He advises both businesses and individuals on all aspects of employment law. These include both contentious and non-contentious matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, bonus disputes, and day-to-day HR matters including disciplinary and grievance procedures, handbook policies and other contractual issues. Naaman also advises on the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, consultancy arrangements and settlement agreements.

He has experience of litigation in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court, and advises clients across a range of business sectors.

Naaman is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Key Experience

  • Assisted in successfully litigating in the Employment Tribunal for Julie Humphryes in her claims for sex discrimination, constructive unfair dismissal and unlawful deduction from wages against property design company Yoo Limited, in respect of her treatment following her return from maternity leave.
  • Assisted in defending an Employment Tribunal claim against a high-profile individual in a case involving issues of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Assisted in defending a major law firm in a complex sex, age and disability discrimination and whistleblowing claim in the Employment Tribunal.
  • Acted for a production company in successfully negotiating settlement terms following mediation between the parties.
