Michael is a Consultant to the Real Estate department, specialising in the administration of complex estates. He also handles the pro bono and charity work of the Firm. These two strands are the recurring themes in a long career and illustrated by Michael’s lead role in setting up the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust for the Home Office, the administration of the estate of John Roberts and the disposal and acquisition of investment properties for the London Sephardi Trust. Reflecting the nature of much of his work Michael is Vice-Chairman of the Jewish Association of the Mentally Ill, and a trustee of British Friends of Peace Now and British Friends of Neve Shalom Wahat al-Salam (two organisations committed to better Arab-Israel relations) and the charity, Community Without Frontiers. His career also includes two years with the Israeli Government Tourist Corporation (then part of the Prime Minister’s Office) in which time, 1960-62, he was a regular broadcaster on Israel Radio. He speaks four languages apart from English: French, German, Italian and Hebrew.

Michael joined the Firm as a Partner in 1988, and took up his current position, Consultant, in 1995.
