Melissa is a qualified solicitor, barrister and Partner in the Family department. She specialises in separation, divorce, trusts and jurisdictional disputes, including complex, multi-jurisdictional cases involving significant assets. These often also include private children matters such as residence and contact, prohibited steps and specific issues. Many of Melissa’s clients have been high profile figures.

Melissa has law degrees from both the Universities of London and Paris and was a pupil at the Chambers of Philip Moor QC. She was called to the Bar in 1998 and became a Partner at Mishcon in 2008. Melissa is bilingual (English and French).

Melissa was named Family Lawyer of the Year in the Spears Wealth Management Awards 2009, included in the Private Client Practitioner 35 under 35 Awards and named as one of Wealth-Bulletins 40 Rising Stars in European Wealth Management 2009, describing her as "one of the sharpest private client lawyers in London".
