Laura is a solicitor in the Employment Department. She has represented claimants and respondents in the Tribunal and the High Court in a wide variety of employment litigation, including whistleblowing, discrimination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract and bonus claims. Laura also has experience advising on all aspects of employment law, including the employment aspects of insolvency and corporate transactions, contracts of employment, policies and procedures, redundancies and disciplinary and grievance matters.

Key Experience

Acted for a financial services company in relation to claims for breach of contract brought in the High Court and Employment Tribunal by a former employee, including mediation and subsequent settlement of these proceedings.
Assisted in advising an employee of a major investment bank in high value Employment Tribunal proceedings for whistleblowing and unfair dismissal with cross jurisdictional aspects (US/Israel).
Assisted in advising a private equity firm on a large-scale claim for sex discrimination brought by a former partner.
Advised a former employee of an investment bank on a claim for disability discrimination brought in the Employment Tribunal.
