John Young is an associate in our corporate department. His practice is focused on advising entrepreneurs and owners of SMEs and he has developed a specialism in advising limited liability partnerships and their members, particularly with respect to the drafting and negotiation of complex control and remuneration structures in LLP agreements and in the context of disputes between LLPs and their members. Clients appreciate John's broad business perspective and ability to quickly grasp complex structures and issues, and he has successfully taken a leading role in the firm's partnership practice.
John recently acted for the shareholders of Commodore Travel on the disposal of its entire issue share capital to Statesman Travel. The new combined group will become one of the top 10 UK travel management companies in terms of transactional volume, with revenues approaching £100 million.
