Christopher advises principals of hedge, property and private equity funds on fund formation and reorganisation and investment programmes across multiple jurisdictions.

He has significant experience in establishing funds and other project and corporate finance structures in emerging markets, particularly India. He acted for Saffron Capital Advisors when they established a €220 million Indian real estate fund listed on Euronext and a $100million Mauritius-based private fund. He has also advised on the development of a 250-acre township project in Southern India and a 300-megawatt wind farm development in Turkey.

Key Experience

Structuring and establishing the K2 Property Fund, a €350 million fund for investment in Indian real estate, domiciled between Mauritius, Cyprus and Jersey, and the subsequent listing of the fund on the Euronext market as Yatra Capital Limited

Advising Greater Europe Fund on a US$ 30m investment in and exit from a US oil and gas company.

Acting for Moor Park Capital Partners on the formation of their second fund, Moor Park Real Estate Fund II.

Advising fund managers Saffron Capital Advisors on the establishment of Saffron India Real Estate Fund 1 ("SIREF"), and on SIREF's initial closing at $100m.

Acting for Wessex Asset Management on the formation, structuring and listing of three funds - Wessex Asia Pacific, Wessex Global Water Fund, and Wessex Gold Fund.

Acting for Crossover Capital in connection with the financing of a 250 acre township development in Chennai, Southern India.
