Arnaud is an experienced commercial property lawyer advising on all types of commercial landlord and tenant issues and the sale and acquisition of investment properties and developments sites. He has particular expertise in retail and leisure developments where he has acted for both developers and tenants.

Arnaud joined the Firm in 1996 and has been a Senior Associate since 2000. He holds degrees in both English and French law from King’s College, London and the Sorbonne and speaks fluent French.

Key Experience

Advised Matterhorn Capital on a £20 million acquisition of two investment properties in Market Street, Newcastle.

Advised St James Capital Group on the property aspects of disposals of parts of the Chiswell Street Brewery Complex to Guestinvest and Matrix Group and related leaseback of part of brewery premises.

Advised Earls Court and Olympia Group and its parent company Capital & Counties on various land acquisitions, disposals and redevelopment issues in respect of Earls Court 1 and 2 Exhibition Centres and surrounding land interests.

Advised Capital & Counties on the property aspects of its £220 million acquisition from Land Securities of a 50% interest in the Empress State Building, London SW6 (comprising the Metropolitan Police Headquarters).

Advised a number of clients on the acquisition of high value properties in the London area for conversion from commercial to residential use or for continued residential use.
