Mishcon de Reya advises on the acquisition of the five star St James’s Club and Hotel in London

Mishcon de Reya has advised on the acquisition of the five star St James's Club and Hotel in London for a price in the region of £60m.

The Firm acted for the purchaser and advised on all of the corporate, real estate and employment aspects of the deal. Other advisers on the buyer side included BoA Merrill Lynch, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Obbard.

The transaction was led by Ross Bryson and Nick Davis on the corporate side and Ian Paul and Arnaud Montagna on the real estate side. The acquisition is yet another example of Mishcon's expertise in the hotel sector and also underscores its track record in acting for overseas buyers coming to the UK market.
