Mishcon de Reya advises on acquisition for Privet Capital

Mishcon de Reya has advised private equity house Privet Capital, which is a relatively new client, on the acquisition of Thermal Engineering plc. Thermal Engineering plc is a manufacturer and supplier of specialised components and assemblies to the aerospace industry.

The transaction represented an excellent outcome for all creditors and stakeholders of Thermal Engineering plc, completed within a challenging timetable. Successful completion required a re-financing, a suite of equity documents, the establishment of a LLP/LP fund structure, property due diligence and new employment and consultancy agreements. As such, it was a truly cross-departmental effort, encompassing lawyers from Corporate, Employment and Real Estate.
