Mishcon de Reya advises Matterhorn Palos Partnership on the Acquisition of Kings Mall, London W6

Mishcon de Reya has advised a group of investors led by the Matterhorn Palos Partnership (Matterhorn Capital owned by Anthony Lyons & Simon Conway) and Brett Palos Investments (owned by Brett Palos) on their £113.5 million acquisition of the Kings Mall Shopping Centre in Hammersmith, London W6.

The 431,316 sq ft shopping centre, which comprises 45 retail units, was purchased from St Martins Property Investments Limited. Retail tenants at the scheme include Sainsbury’s, Primark, Mothercare, WH Smith and New Look. The deal also includes the office towers One Lyric Square and West 45.

The Mishcon de Reya team advising on Kings Mall was led by real estate partner Daniel Lipman, with assistance from real estate partners John England and Philip Freedman) as well as James Brownlie (construction) and Daniel Farrand (planning). Corporate partner Dean Poster, together with assistants Laura Chandler and Victoria Theaker, advised on the corporate and structuring side of the transaction.

The Acquisition reflects a significant deal in terms of the wider London retail investment market.”
