Mishcon de Reya advised Quotient Bioscience Limited on its acquisition of Pharmaceutical Profiles Group Limited

Mishcon de Reya advised Quotient Bioscience ("QBS") on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Pharmaceutical Profiles Group Limited.

QBS is a leading provider of analytical and safety evaluation services and products for bioscience and sport. QBS acquired the entire issued share capital and various debts of Pharmaceutical Profiles Group Limited, a leading provider of specialist Phase 1 drug development services to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, from 3i Group Plc, 3i UK Private Equity 2004-06 LP and various other sellers.

Paul Cowan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of QBS said "This was an important acquisition for the Quotient group and Mishcon de Reya once again ran and completed the transaction professionally and in accordance with our business objectives."

Head of Corporate Richard Tyler led the team. Other parties involved in the transaction include Browne Jacobson LLP, Osborne Clarke and Ernst & Young, Belfast.
