Mishcon de Reya acts for Matterhorn Palos Partnership

Mishcon de Reya this week completed the ‘off market’ sale of "O2" Leisure and Retail Scheme located on Finchley Road, London NW3 for longstanding clients Matterhorn Capital and Palos Investments for £125.9 million to Land Securities Plc.

The scheme currently comprises over 300,000 sq ft of leisure and retail space with anchor tenants including Sainsbury, Homebase, Esporta, Habitat and Vue Cinema and over the last 12 months has had an acknowledged visitor count in excess of 6.5 million visitors.

The Mishcon de Reya team was led by real estate Partner Daniel Lipman assisted by Partner John England together with Helena Liebster, Kirpal Kaur and Nick Kirby. The sale was of the owning corporate entity and the corporate aspects of the transaction were dealt with by corporate Partner Dean Poster who has today joined Mishcon de Reya from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe.
