Mishcon de Reya acts for CBRE on M3 acquisition
Mishcon de Reya has acted for CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (CBRE), the largest property services company in the world, in the acquisition of M3 Agency LLP, a leading industrial and logistics real estate services specialist. The acquisition – CBRE’s first in the UK in two years - represents a significant step in the development of CBRE industrial services offering in the UK and across Europe.
M3 was founded in 2000 by ex-Gerald Eve agents Richard Moffitt and Simon Milner. It has
offices in London,
Birmingham and
Sheffield and advises global clients on investment, funding, occupancy, leasing and development of industrial properties. Its 20-strong team will now be fully integrated into CBRE.
Corporate Partner, Dean Poster, who recently joined the Firm from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, led the Mishcon de Reya team, assisted by Andrew Wolfin. He commented: “This deal is indicative of the upturn in the property market. CBRE has taken the opportunity to strengthen its presence in a key service area with an acquisition that reflects a broader, improving situation across the sector.”
