You are here: Home Latest Firm News Jazz FM to be carried on British Airways in-flight audio for the first time Jazz FM to be carried on British Airways in-flight audio for the first time ‹ Prev | Next › Release Date: 01 November 2012 From November 1 2012 listeners to Jazz FM's top rated weekly show, Jazz Shapers, in association with law firm Mishcon de Reya are set to soar to new heights, after the programme starts broadcasting on British Airways flights, for the initial term of one year. Jazz Shapers is a one-hour programme broadcast every Wednesday evening on Jazz FM and has been sponsored by Mishcon de Reya for the last year. The show shares music from the risk takers, leaders and influencers of jazz, soul, funk and blues, alongside interviews with their equivalent in the business world - entrepreneurs who have defined and shaped business categories and ways of operating. Jazz Shapers is presented by Mishcon de Reya’s Director of Business Development and former LBC radio presenter Elliot Moss. During each show Elliot interviews shapers of the business world, people who, like the musicians in the show, have defied convention and gone on to achieve great success. The Jazz Shapers show will be featured on the majority of the main fleet (of around 115 planes) and will be available on all travel classes. The first programmes which have been chosen to broadcast on British Airways include interviews with: Sir John Hegarty: Co-Founder of global advertising agency BBH Carol Hayes: Founder of Carol Hayes Management John Vincent: Co-Founder of the Leon food restaurant chain Lara Morgan: Founder of Companyshortcuts.com Luke Johnson: Chairman of Risk Capital Partners Annabel Karmel: Modern day "mumpreneur" and expert on children's food and nutrition The agreement with British Airways was brokered between Jazz FM and Mishcon de Reya and the programmes are produced in house by Jazz FM.
