Mishcon de Reya advised The Governor and the Company of the Bank of Ireland on a £13 Million acquisition of 21-22 Grosvenor Street, London, W1, originally acquired using an acquisition facility from NM Rothschild & Sons. This acquisition facility was refinanced, in addition to which a further facility was put in place to develop the property.
The deal involved banking, real estate and construction elements.
Banking Partner, Luke Morris led the Corporate Mishcon de Reya team assisted by Partner, Matthew Lindsay and Assistant, Louis Ditz. Real Estate Partner, Daniel Lipman and Real Estate Assistant, James Brownlie advised on the Real Estate aspects of the transaction.
Olswang acted for the Borrower on both the real estate and banking aspects. Maples Teesdale acted for the Borrower on construction aspects.
