Mishcon de Reya acts for EC&O in sale of Earl’s Court and Olympia to Liberty International

The Real Estate team at Mishcon de Reya has acted for long standing clients Anthony Lyons, Simon Conway and David Coffer, the majority shareholders of EC&O Venues, in the sale of half of London’s Earls Court exhibition centre and Olympia to Liberty International in a deal that values the business at about £380m.

Mishcon de Reya handled all of the real estate aspects of the 50:50 joint venture with Capital & Counties, a subsidiary of UK FTSE 100 listed property company Liberty International.  This work included the preparation of the Certificates of Title on a number of properties, considering all aspects of the operative transactional documents as well as giving overall advice on various property issues that arose during the deal.

The Mishcon de Reya team was led by Head of Real Estate, Nick Doffman and by partner, Daniel Lipman.
