Mishcon de Reya advises Maypole Group Plc on its £8 million refinancing and acquisition

Mishcon de Reya has advised longstanding client Maypole Group Plc on its £8 million refinancing of its existing banking arrangements from the Bank of Scotland to Clydesdale Bank Plc and also on its simultaneous acquisition of Wayford Bridge Hotel. 

Maypole Group Plc was floated on AIM in April 2006 for £2.31 million and owns a number of countryside hotels with restaurants and bars across the UK.

Banking partner Matthew Lindsay led the team alongside corporate partners Ross Bryson and Kevin McCarthy. Alice Galbraith and Louis Ditz assisted the team.

Stephenson Harwood acted for Clydesdale Bank Plc, Wood Awdry & Ford acted for the vendors of the Wayford Bridge Hotel and Henmans acted for Maypole Group Plc on the acquisition of the hotel.
