Mishcon de Reya advises on the £9 million sale of Dewynters Plc to the AIM-listed First Artist Corporation Plc

Mishcon de Reya acted for Anthony Pye-Jeary and Robert de Wynter in the sale of the entire issued share capital of Dewynters Plc to the AIM-listed First Artist Corporation PLC for an initial consideration of £9 million in cash and £100,000 in shares in First Artist with a further deferred consideration, dependant on profit targets, over the next three years.

Dewynters Plc provides innovative media, marketing and creative solutions for the entertainment and leisure industries.

Corporate Partner Larry Nathan led the corporate team and was assisted by Robin Bennett and Richard Benson. Employment elements of the sale were handled by Kelly Workman and Luke Miotte advised on the property aspects. UK tax advice was provided by Vishvas Kanji.

Newman & Co acted as accountants to the vendors and Clintons acted for First Artist Corporation Plc.
