Joel Adler boosts Mishcon’s Corporate and International Offering

Mishcon de Reya is delighted to announce the enhancement of their corporate team, as well known corporate lawyer, Joel Adler joins the partnership.  Adler joins from Speechly Bircham where he has been partner for the past seven years. 

Joel brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in all types of domestic and international corporate finance work, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, international trust planning, establishments of investment funds and flotations of foreign companies on the London Stock Exchange, particularly on AIM.

Joel's client base is international and encompasses a wide range of businesses, ranging from large multinational public companies to small entrepreneurial firms undertaking work in London and Europe.  This international focus has included the European markets and Israel where he is highly regarded and where he acted for some of the biggest corporations.

Mishcon de Reya has a long-standing history of working with Israel.  Its founder, Lord Mishcon was instrumental in the negotiation of the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan in November 1994.  More recently, the Firm's Israel Desk, led by Head of Corporate Commercial, Richard Tyler, has developed a strong reputation for advising numerous high-profile Israeli institutions, companies and entrepreneurs in the UK and EU on establishing operations, raising funds, listings, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolutions and investment into the real estate market.

Born and educated in Vienna and fluent in German, English and Hebrew, Joel obtained his first law degree from Bar Ilan University in Israel and his LLM at London University.

He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Catalyst Fund, an international venture capital fund investing in high tech, telecom and internet companies.
